Northern Steel Transport Company originally began as a regional flatbed carrier specializing in heavy loads around the Great Lakes states. Since that humble beginning back in 1963 we have grown, expanded, and diversified into operating in 48 states and Ontario with various sized flatbed & covered wagons, drop deck, refrigerated and dry van truckload operations serving many different industries and Fortune 500 companies.
We presently operate a fleet of approximately 300 trucks consisting of a combination of both company-owned and permanently-leased units.
